Having A Cute Jungle Party: Baby Animals Theme

Since you found out your friend is pregnant, you decided to hold a fun baby shower for her. It’s the least you can do; after all she’s done for you. A baby shower allows her to spend time with her family and friends while enjoying the blessing she’s received. With the help of your other friends and her family, you set out to plan a cute and enjoyable baby shower for her. Of course, you have to decide on a theme first.
Since your friend adores cutesy stuff, you should find a theme that’s adorable, fun and easy to prepare. It doesn’t necessarily have to be childish or about babies, but something you can relate to children. For example, you can have a baby animal party theme for her. It’s simple, sweet and lots of fun. A baby jungle theme would certainly entice everyone to the party!
Planning a baby animal party is not very difficult, as long as you have some great, but manageable ideas to help you out. Here are several suggestions you can use for a cute and fun baby animal theme.
Baby Animal Invites: Cute Invitations

It’s easy to find baby shower invitations that have prints of different baby animals on them, such as piglets, chicks, kittens, puppies, ducklings and bunnies. You can buy these from a party supplies shop or arts and craft stores. If you want, you can also make your own homemade invites. You just need different colored papers and some coloring materials. Cut these out in the shape of your favorite baby animals, and then print the party details on them.
A Fun Jungle Atmosphere: Baby Animal Decorations

To let your guests experience the baby animal theme better, you can turn your venue into a makeshift jungle. Just hang up some green and yellow streamers, cover the surfaces with green and yellow tablecloth and then put some plants around the venue. For the finishing touches, get your cute baby animal stuffed toys, and situate them around the place. If you have smaller ones or baby animal figurines, you can use these as table centerpieces.
Yummy Chow For The Guests: Baby Animal Party Food

To blend with your baby animal motif, you should serve yummy food the guests can associate with these cute creatures. Animal crackers, pigs in a blanket, gummy bears, monkey bread and animal-shaped cookies are tasty examples. You can also serve treats made from fruits, such as bananas, coconuts, apples, pineapples and mangoes. How about a tropical fruit salad for dessert? It’s a delicious and refreshing treat! For the beverage, you can create a “Jungle juice” concoction.
Baby Animal Fun: Jungle Party Games
Aside from the typical baby shower games, you can play Baby Animal Match. The emcee will give names of popular animals (cat, dog, horse, owl, rabbit, cow, bear, swan and horse) and the guests will have to say the name of their offspring. Another fun game they can play is the “Jumping Monkeys” board game. It’s silly and guaranteed to have everyone laughing off their seats.
For a more relaxing activity, why not get some CDs of animated movies that feature animals? “Madagascar”, “The Wild”, “Ice Age” and “The Jungle Book” are great choices.
Giveaways For The Guests: Baby Animal Party Favors

Simple tokens of appreciation can include soaps or candles in the shape of these animals or animal cookies placed in cute bags (Learn how to carve soap). You can also get animal print tokens, such as picture frames, slippers or even a sleep mask. They’re useful, creative and they go well with your theme.
For a cute and enjoyable baby shower, you should try a baby animals theme. Your friend will certainly appreciate this because of its cute, sweet and fun nature. Go wild with this party theme! For more information regarding this article, read Jungle Party Ideas.
