baby showerFor any parent, having a baby is certainly a reason for celebration. Of course, there is no better way to celebrate this than by having a baby shower. The parents-to-be get to enjoy time with their closest friends and relatives, and they receive gifts that’ll be useful when their baby arrives. Baby showers involve a lot of eating and merrymaking. They also include exciting games everyone can enjoy.

baby bottlesMany baby shower games include activities such as relays or races, and although many people have fun when playing these, there are others who find them too tiring. For example, if you have grandparents and elderly friends at a shower, you can’t expect them to go running around everywhere. Smart party planners opt for simpler games that require less moving around, but will still let the guests enjoy. One very popular example is Baby Bottle Treasure Hunt.

At first, many people think Baby Bottle Treasure Hunt is like the usual treasure hunting game played by children, where they look for hidden objects. The truth is, however, this simple activity doesn’t require anything so exhausting. In fact, it won’t even require the guests to stand up from their seats. It’s a treasure hunt with a cute and unique twist.

There are several materials needed to play Baby Bottle Treasure Hunt, including two regular-sized baby bottles and several small trinkets (at least 10 to 15 kinds), which will serve as the treasure.. These small items must be tiny enough to fit inside a bottle. Examples of trinkets are buttons, hair clips, small toys, pompoms, Q-tips, safety pins and tiny foam cutouts. Before the game, the trinkets are placed inside the two bottles. Then, rice grains or sand are placed inside the bottle, enough to partly cover the small things within.

baby bottlesBefore the game, the party emcee will have to group the guests into two teams and give them a paper and pen to write with. Each team is given a bottle, and at the emcee’s signal, they must list down all the treasures they see inside the bottle. There should be a set time limit, between three or five minutes. The team who correctly lists the most number of treasures wins the game.

For an enjoyable baby shower game, Baby Bottle Treasure Hunt is one you must try. It’s not difficult or tiring, yet it’ll certainly let your guests have a great time. If you have a great time reading this article, you’ll surely enjoy learning how to make a baby shower kit.

I thought, too, that this is another treasure hunt where things are buried and a map is given and I thought, "Man, it'd look weird for grown-up people (and one pregnant woman) to be doing all this!"
