Childhood Nostalgia At Your Baby Shower: Place The Pacifier In The Baby’s Mouth

Baby showers are fun events. Everyone wants to have a good time during these celebrations, as the couple welcomes the arrival of a new angel in their lives. That’s why baby showers often have a lot of eating, merrymaking and games.
No baby shower is complete without enjoyable games and activities. Organizers try to inject some games that allow the guests to feel like children at heart. Aside from the usual relays and guessing games, there are some games that are actually derived from popular children’s games. One very common example is “Place the Pacifier in the Baby’s Mouth”. Because of the simple, but entertaining rules, many organizers make this game a central part of their baby shower programs.
If you’re familiar with the game “Pin the Tail on the Donkey”, then you have an idea how this game works. All you’ll need is a picture of a baby, a blindfold, and some pacifier drawings with tacks or double-sided tape on the reverse.
Place the Pacifier in the Baby’s Mouth Game
The baby picture is taped to the wall, while the pacifier drawings are given to each participant. The guests are asked to form a straight line a few meters away from the wall. One by one, they are blindfolded and asked to make their way towards the picture. With only their hands guiding them, they must grope around until they are able to place the pacifier on the wall, where they think is closest to the mouth of the baby. The person who places the pacifier closest to the target wins the game.
Place the Pacifier in the Baby’s Mouth is a fun baby shower game everyone will surely enjoy. It’ll remind you of the popular parlor game you played when you were a child.
