baby showerBaby Showers are always fun and festive events, filled with lots of storytelling, eating and gifts for the little angel. Even so, things might get boring if there’s nothing lively in the program. That’s why games and other fun activities are also done during the party. Even adults like to have a little fun and participate in these activities.

Grown ups enjoy playing games, but they prefer quieter ones that won’t require them to stand or run around. Games that don’t require many materials are more practical, especially since the organizers are busy attending to other party details.

If you’re looking for games that have these characteristics, you should play Don’t Cross Your Legs. It’s simple, but certainly fun. One of the downsides of being pregnant for many women is they can’t move around very freely anymore and crossing their legs, is a very difficult task. Don’t Cross Your Legs will allow everyone to laugh about this annoying pregnancy peeve, and this game can let everyone to participate.

All you need is some string or yarn and some baby safety pins. Once the guests arrive, give them a piece of yarn or string with a safety pin hanging from it to wear around their necks. Tell everyone that they must wear these makeshift necklaces all throughout the event, and it signifies that they’re not allowed to cross their legs. Once a guest sees another person crossing his or her legs, he or she can take that person’s safety pin. Whoever gets the most pins at the end of the day wins a special prize.

Lol when I read this I thought this is a warning for women not to cross their legs during baby showers due to men watching, and I thought to myself "are there men in baby showers?" Didn't know this was a game. XD

Wow, I haven't heard of this game before. I remember my mother used to tell me that it was indeed annoying that you can't cross your legs when you're pregnant. I'll tell my cousin about this game, since we're planning a baby shower for our friend.

Man, husbands out there, it's a great feeling to be the only man in a baby shower and this game is being played. Just don't let your wives notice how beet red your face is, lest this baby shower be your last one.
