Useful Baby Shower Gifts: Items To Put In The Crib
You’ve just received an invitation to one of your closest friend’s baby shower. She’s only a couple of months away from her due date, and it’s traditional for her closest friends and family members to celebrate the joyful event. You’re excited to go, but there’s one thing you forgot to get—a baby shower gift!
As a guest to a baby shower, it’s only polite to bring a gift. After all, that is the main point of the event, to shower the parents with gifts they can use for their baby when he or she arrives. That’s why you should think of a useful gift to give. You want something the parents will appreciate, like a crib, but you know it’s expensive, and they probably have one already. As an alternate option, why don’t you get baby gifts to put in the crib instead? They’ll certainly be useful and memorable for both the baby and the parents.

A baby spends a lot of time sleeping, which is why items to put in the crib are ideal choices as baby shower gifts. You can be sure the parents will put them to use immediately.
For you, getting these types of gift can also have numerous advantages. For one, you get to save money. Baby crib items are not very expensive and they’re easy to find. They can be bought at any baby shop or department store, and some are even sold online.

There are different kinds of baby crib items, such as crib-fitted sheets and comforters, baby blankets, crib pads, and crib trims. If you want to give fun and useful items, baby mobiles and musical toys are great presents. They can be hung on top of the crib to amuse the infant while it is on its back.
Baby items for the crib are certainly good choices, but make sure you check the products’ safety first. For example, bumper pads are not recommended because they increase the possibility of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). As for sheets and blankets, make sure you get hypoallergenic types, so the baby’s chance of getting allergies or irritation will be lessened (Learn how to prevent SIDS). I hear that those little things you hang on baby's cradles can help them develop their visual-mental connection or something. So they'll probably be artists or some such when they grow up. if that's true, then those are pretty nice gifts!on 2008-10-06 at 01:55:14
Just a reminder to everyone: don't put tiny things in the crib because the baby might pick them up and put them in their mouth! Stuff toys are good, but don't give babies little marbles are things like that.
