Baby Shower Invitations: Adorable Stork Designs
When a young child asks “Mommy, where did I come from?” the popular reply of many parents is “the stork brought you to us, sweetie.” Indeed, the belief that this long beaked animal is the one that brings babies to their parents is popular among many cultures in the West. It’s no wonder that many baby showers often have this popular character as part of their theme. Parents usually have stork decorations and party favors during their party. Sometimes, actual storks are at the party!
Another popular manifestation of the stork in baby shower traditions is through the invitations. It’s very common for hosts and the future mothers to use invitations with cute stork designs for their baby showers for numerous reasons. For one, these can represent either a boy or girl baby. For moms who don’t know their baby’s gender yet, stork invitations are ideal. Another is their simplicity. Stork invitations don’t look glamorous, yet they have an adorable appeal that makes them very likable.
