• It’s nice if you can personalize the shower invitation. For example, you can put a picture of the baby in the front page with the caption “It’s A Welcome Party for Baby (the baby’s name)!”
• Since the child is already with the mom during the shower, it’s better if you don’t hold the party in a venue that’s too far away. It will be difficult for the mom and the guests.
• The parents usually have their hands full with the infant during the party. To let them have some fun, assign a nanny to help them with the child. Their friends can also take turns holding and watching the infant.
• The parents most probably have already gotten some baby items for their little angel. To avoid getting the same kinds of items they already own, make sure you have a registry for the party. Coordinate with the mom and dad so they can specify which items they don’t have yet.
